Here are some products from Nature’s Way – iHerb curries over 400 Nature’s Way products and I love their supplements.

The first one is Coconut Oil. Well it’s just an essential in our home, I have a jar in my kitchen and a jar in my bathroom and I use it for everything! What I love about this specific one is that it really smells like coconuts – not all oils do! It’s extra virgin and organic and the price is really reasonable!

The uses are endless:

1. Hair masque – my favorite! Milinda loves joining me for that and says she gets “princess’s hair” – well she really does 🙂 It’s so good for your hair and it’s great for summer time too, when we lived in India (have you read the blog post about our trip here?) I learned that Indian women put coconut oil on their hair in hot days (and that’s all the time 🙂 ) to strengthen them AND to give them sun protection!

2. Moisturiser! Apply to damp skin. I love using it after shower in the evening before bed or after swimming in a pool.

3. Makeup remover! Just add some to a cotton pad + some water and voila! That’s the only thing I’ve been using for makeup removal for years.

4. Oil pulling! Thats a great Ayurvedic technic that improves your oral health. Mix a small amount of coconut oil – about 1/2 teaspoon of coconut oil mix with some turmeric powder, put it in your mouth and swish it around for 15-20 minutes. That reduces the amount of harmful bacteria in the mouth. And therefor reduces the possibility of various problems, including bad breath, gum inflammation and cavities.

5. And of course – use this oil for cooking! Frying, making vegan chocolate and puddings – mmm! that makes me want to go and grab some sweets so I’ll just stop here 🙂

I’ve also got some Alive! vitamins for the whole family that I absolutely love. Women’s vitamins for myself: Alive! Once Daily Women’s Ultra Potency that has Orchard Fruits/Garden Veggies and Daily greens, and Alive! Garden Goodness Women’s multi-vitamin that are made with organic kale, acai and raspberry. If you choose between these two I would recommend you to get the first one, Once Daily, it costs $17.68 vs $13.60 for Garden Goodness but it has a much higher dose of vitamins (for example: vitamin B 100 mcg in Once Daily VS 4.8 mcg in Garden Goodness, biotin 325 mcg VS 30 mcg ect) and more greens/veggies too, AND it will actually last you longer, the both bottles have 60 tablets but the serving size is 1 tablet of Once Daily per day and 2 of Garden Goodness, so you are actually saving! 🙂

I’ve got the same Alive! Once Daily Men’s ultra potency vitamins for my husband that is amazingly packed with nutritions just like women’s ones, plus I’ve got B-complex gummies for him – it has much more B2 then Once Daily but less B12 (and B12 is crucial for vegetarians) so I would recommend trying both products.

And of course, some gummies for Milinda. She loves her Alive! Первый любимчик – это кокосовое масло! Я его использую для всего, и у меня дома всегда две баночки – на кухне и в ванной. Я пробовала масла разных брендов, это от Nature’s Way мне одно из любимых – пахнет кокосом (как ни странно, не все масла пахнут, даже если они супер-натуральные). Масло органическое первого отжима, и при этом очень доступная цена.

Вариантов применения огромное количество:

1. Как маска для волос – мое любимое 🙂 Милинда тоже всегда просит намазать ей волосы и говорит, что они становятся красивыми, как у настоящей принцессы (и это правда!). Кстати, когда мы жили в Индии (читали пост про наши индийские приключения?) я узнала, что индианки постоянно мажут волосы кокосовым маслом – это не только супер-полезно для волос, но и защищает от негативного воздействия солгнечных лучей.
2. Кокосовое масло для увлажнения кожи. Просто намажьте на влажную кожу после душа или бассейна – ваша кожа скажет вам “спасибо”.
3. Для снятия макияжа. Немного масла + воды на ватный диск и протрите лицо. Я так делаю уже несколько лет 🙂
4. Ойл пулинг – слышали про такое? 🙂 это популярная аюрведическая техника, которая набирает популярность и в современной Америке. Делается для здоровья полости рта – и не только. Утром, на голодный желудок, берете чайную ложку (или чуть меньше) кокосового масла, добавляете куркумы, кладете в рот и “полощете” рот минут 15-20, потом выплевываете. Кокосовое масло, особенно в сочетании с куркумой, обладает антибактериальным эффектом, если делать ойл пулинг постоянно – не будет запаха изо рта, болезней десен, кариеса и тд.
5. и конечно – кокосовое масло для готовки. Жарить на нем лучше, чем на оливковом, а еще с ним можно делать классные вкусняшки, пуддинги и тд!

А еще я взяла Alive! для всей семьи. Для меня - Alive! Once Daily Women’s Ultra Potency с овощным порошком и Alive! Garden Goodness Women’s multi-vitamin с органическим кейлом, асаи и малиной. Если вы выбираете одни из этих двух – берите Once Daily, они стоят $17.68 против $13.60 за Garden Goodness, но доза витаминов гораздо выше (например: витамин B 100 mcg в Once Daily против 4.8 mcg в Garden Goodness, биотин 325 mcg против 30 mcg и тд) и больше всяких трав/овощей в составе, а ЕЩЕ вам их хватит на дольше, в обеих баночках по 60 таблеток, но Once Daily нужно есть по 1 в день, а Garden Goodness по 2, так что в итоге получается наоборот выгоднее 🙂

Для мужа беру Alive! Once Daily Men’s ultra potency витамины – они такие же классные по составу, как и женские Once Daily, плюс B-complex gummies – в них гораздо больше B2, чем в Once Daily, но меньше B12 (B12 очень важен для вегетарианцев), так что если нужны витамины группы Ð’ – хорошо курсами принимать и те, и те.

И конечно, витаминки для Милинды. Она очень любит свои Alive! Gummies и думает6 что это конфетки 🙂 А еще в день можно есть аж 3 штуки! (для детей старше 2Ñ… лет), так что она в один день может съесть и вишневую, и апельсиновую, и виноградную 🙂 Что еще мне нравится в “мармеладных” витаминах этого бренда – они на пектине, а не на желатине, а значит вегетарианские!
