The best Halloween party for cute little witches

This post is in partnership with Christmas Tree Shops andThat! All opinions are my own.

Halloween is right around the corner and we can’t be more excited! Milinda absolutely loves Halloween and Nicole is getting old enough to appreciate the fun of it, too!

I’m throwing this kid-friendly party for my girls and their little friends and wanted to share some ideas with you guys.

I’ve decided to go with pink and purple as the main colors for this party and got all the decorations from Christmas Tree Shops. I’ve started with the pumpkins, the little ones are just $1.99 and they look perfect as a part of a table centerpiece, on a Halloween snack board, or on a cupcake tier trail. The dark purple carved pumpkins light up and that’s such beautiful and versatile decor.

Oh and the skulls! The Christmas Tree Shops have a lot of different ones – cute, fancy, or scary, I went with this white-gold one with a crown and pink flowers – isn’t it the best?

Also, these signs! I used the pink one saying “I put a spell on you” and the purple “have a wicked good night”. They are wooden and beautiful made, cute and girly, would be great on a front door, in the playhouse, or even in a kid’s bedroom.

And of course, we needed lots of snacks!

I started with the snack board – I love creating these boards for every occasion. With little eaters in mind, I put some berries, popcorn, and candy. Made the easy “ghosts” using half of banana + chocolate chips (regular and mini) as eyes and mouth. Also, Pinterest helped me with this cute and easy idea for making spiders  – mini chocolate donuts, pretzel pieces, and eyes, takes 2 minutes to assemble! Well okay, 10 minutes 🙂

I got red velvet cupcakes (my personal favorite!) and chocolate and vanilla mini cupcakes and served them on vintage tier trays from Christmas Tree Shop’s serveware department. That’s also where I got these big glass jars for marshmallows and purple marshmallow cats (meow!). And can we talk about this amazing beverage dispenser for a second? I jumped with joy when I noticed it, I loved the gothic-vintage style of it and thought it was very Halloween-y, what do you guys think? Filled it with pink lemonade – yum!

The bat stickers and spider web added the final touches. You should have seen the faces of girls when they saw this! Totally loved it (and all the treats too, of course) 🙂

I have a little gift for you! Follow this link to get $10 off when you spend $50!

Thank you Christmas Tree Shops for sponsoring this post. It’s always super fun to shop there, the assortment always changes making shopping a treasure hunt-like experience. They have everything you need for Halloween and more. Their decor sells up so quickly though – make sure to go grab the items you loved while they are still on the shelves!
