One amazing day in Salt Lake City and a party for four at Chuck E. Cheese

Thank you to Chuck E. Cheese for sponsoring this post. And thank you, my readers, for supporting the brands that make my blog possible 🙂 All opinions are my own – as always!

It’s been almost a year since we’ve been on a vacation all together and this one is really exciting! We wanted to go to Yellowstone National Park for a while and we made it possible this year. We decided to fly via Salt Lake City, rent a car there and drive north.

Turns out, the whole area around Salt Lake City is incredibly beautiful! From amazing arches and canyons to the south (I haven’t actually made a post about our trips to these parks but I will I promise!) to mountains with snowy peaks and waterfalls and geysers to the north. Something beautiful anywhere you drive!

During our short stay in Salt Lake City, we explored the downtown, Temple Square and the beautiful area near Olympic Legacy Plaza and Urban Arts Gallery with it’s fountains, nice little cafes, art pieces, paintings and knot gardens.

We also wanted to make this vacation fun for the kids, too. When I learned that there is Chuck E. Cheese in Salt Lake City I knew Milinda would be so excited to go there! Itour favourite destination for kids parties and just one of the happiest places that brings so many memories! There were so many birthday parties at Chuck E. Cheese and Milinda kept remembering her friends we celebrated there and all the fun they had.

And now it’s Chuck E. Cheese’s Halloween Boo-Tacular! A month Month-Long Event Celebrating Halloween (In-Store, At-Home And Online!). That means new Halloween-y treats in the menu, daily online activities and exclusive party packages for dine-in, carry-out and delivery, Halloween-themed, age- appropriate décor and photo spots.

Chuck E. Cheese are implementing a lot of measures for our safety. You get your temperature checked upon your arrival and hands sanitised. Instead of the hand stamp you used to get before, now you take your family Kid Check® Selfie – here’s the one we took!:)

All the games are spaced out to a minimum 6 ft distance, all play and dining areas as well as restrooms are being sanitised continuously. And of course, masks are required.

Additionally, for more touchless experience and your safety, they recently launched e-tickets, eliminating paper tickets. Instead, guests can see all of their e-tickets earned through their play card and claim individually-wrapped prizes at the Gift Shop.

We played aaaaall the games! And if you think Chuck E. Cheese is only fun for kids – you are wrong! My husband pretends to be all grown up and serious but when we get to Chuck E. Cheese he ends up playing a few games – he loves basketball and racing, and sometimes we play together some stand-up arcade games to see who wins.

We ordered kids favourite pizzas, some salads and of course, their new Halloween treats! Dippin’ Dots® Eye Scream with gummy worms was Milinda’s favourite! And Boo-tacular Oro® Brownie was dangerously delicious, too;)

Also, these pictures of Nicole eating her pizza are priceless:) this girl LOVES a good food!

This year, Chuck E. Cheese Halloween celebrations aren’t limited to in-store only, families can bring home the fun too with their carry-our and delivery services. There is a variety of entertainment options available on the Chuck E. Cheese website and social media channels, including its Afternoon Fun Break™ featuring character vignettes, music videos, crafts and interactive activities for kids. This year Chuck E. Cheese will also debut the new Boo-tasic Dance online for kids and families to dance along at home.

We had so much fun and Milinda is already begging to go back! But for now, we are heading farther to the north to Teton National Park and to Yellowstone! Stay tuned 🙂
